There is one main tournament that runs throughout the LAN. In order to decide the games for the tournament, your suggestions will be invited each month in a thread under the Upcoming LAN category in the forums. From these suggestions the committee will choose six Preselection Games. To these six are added the two Traditional Games: Tetrinet and FrisbeeMark IRL.

Any other Community Games can be added to the tournament at any time, by anyone, simply by having a server or multiple servers running with at least 8 players. Simply get a game up and running, then grab an admin to see if the game can be "made official."

In addition to the preselection games, the committee may also recommend a list of games as "Test Games". These are games that
we would like to include in the tournament, but we want to see played first. Test Games can of course be upgraded to Community Games
if there is enough interest.

Tournament prizes are low dollar value prizes - usually $20 to $40, and 2 to 4 prizes will be awarded. High dollar value prizes
are awarded as door prizes, and all attendees are eligible, including social tickets.

Tournament prizes and major door prizes will be held for up to three months - you do not have to be present at the award ceremony to
claim them. There are often many minor door prizes - these will only be awarded to people who are present.

You can suggest any game you like as a Preselected or Community Tournament Game. There is a short list of games that are considered problematic for one reason or another, and are unlikely to be included in a tournament.
